Chanel Cruise 2012/13 Illustrations

Karl Lagerfeld presented the Chanel Cruise 2012/13 in the garden of the Château de Versailles. He knows how to combine modern design and classic chic like no one else, and he’s probably the only person who can dress a model in a skirt and trainers and get away with it. We saw cute chiffon dresses as well as jeans, shorts and the famous tweed jackets. Most of the dresses looked like 18th century rococo chic.

Blogger Drawing: Carrie Harwood of wishwishwish

I’ve done a photo illustration of her before, but wanted to add Carrie to my ‘Blogger Drawings’, pencil portraits of various bloggers I love. I still really enjoy reading her blog and looking at her beautiful photos. If I had to choose a favourite blog post on her blog, I wouldn’t be able to decide, because they’re all so amazing.

Burberry Prorsum AW12 Illustrations

The Burberry Prorsum AW12 show was hands down the best show at London Fashion Week. Fake rain and thunder, music by Marina and the Diamonds (‘Numb’) and a front row like no other. The collection itself is fabulous. It’s chic and playful and I love it! Which is the reason why I chose two of my favourite Burberry AW12 pieces to illustrate.

Blogger Drawing: Charles of ChaseBondStyle

Charles, fashion stylist and creative director for chasebondstyle, and I met at the Task PR AW12 press day a few weeks ago and he asked me to draw a picture of him after he saw the other blogger drawings on my blog. It took me a while to finish this drawing, but here it is. I really hope you like it, Charles!

General Loveliness – Macarons & Other Treasures

A few tiny things I love. The limited edition Karl Lagerfeld coke I bought in Paris last year. Macaroon lip balm (strawberry and lemon) from Accessorize with a Paris street scene on it. Two flower bracelets from Etsy. A small cream/gold-coloured bag which contains an extra button for my Anthropologie dress. A butterfly I bought in Weimar last week. A white Chanel bracelet. Lots of cute hair bows. A ‘Red London Bus – Ticket to London’ necklace from Accessorize. The pink ice cone necklace I bought at Cyberdog in Camden. A gold clock necklace I inherited from my grandma. Another necklace I got at Camden (the one with the dark pink bow, and my selfmade one (the other one with a pink bow).

Some more quotes, words and things I love, all on one sheet of paper. The messages I wrote down only to fill the empty space are the funniest, I think. Who can find ‘This is a sheet of paper with letters..’? Haha!

Blogger Photo Illustration: Carrie Harwood of WishWishWish

What fascinates me most about Carries blog are the breathtakingly beautiful photos. She’s so very talented! Every of her photos opens a way into a different world for me; one of vintage clothing, Mulberry bags, Fashion Week and many other fantastic things. I’m addicted to and obsessed with the photos on her blog!
